Following on from the successful winter invitational earlier this year, we are planning to hold a second event this Autumn (PMAI), following the same format.
Members will have the opportunity to invite potential TGC members who currently play golf elsewhere to take part in the PMAI which will be held on Sunday, November 23rd, 2025.
We all know that the quality of our greens, especially in the winter with the absence of temporary greens, and no requirement to use winter tees or fairway mats, sets TGC apart from many local courses at this time of year. As you may have seen in the last Newsletter, this year we are planning to undertake drainage improvement work on 3 greens, so it maybe that we do have 3 temporary greens at the time of the event-but this demonstrates ongoing investment in our prime asset, the golf course.

Itinerary:
9:00: Arrival, Tea/Coffee Pastries
10:00 - 11:00: 2 x Tee Start (Teeing off from the 1st or 10th)
14:30 - 15:30: Soup & Sandwich Lunch (Oak Room)

Other Details:
1. The competition will be a team format with 2 to score from 4.
There will be a prize for the winning team.
2. There is no entrance fee for the day and any Member can invite up
to 3 prospective members as their guests.
3. Please be mindful that this is a day designed to attract interest in
TGC Membership, so please only invite those who you think would
be a valuable addition to TGC and have a genuine interest in
joining.
4. Depending on the number of entrants, you will be paired with your
3 guests or another Member/member guest combination.
5. All guests will be provided with a TGC Membership Information
Pack, and remember that any Member who successfully proposes
a new member for membership will receive a £100 credit to their
bar/food TGC account.
6. Should the weather be inclement and the course be closed on
Sunday 23rd November 2025, the PMAI will be played at a later date
